From what you written,I don't know too much of that girls body found in the Salinas River at Monterey County,except her name was Donna Marie Braun. 1974. She was found murdered,possibly drowned by suffocation on purpose in the Salinas River then later found on Sept 26,1974 at that location. It looks like another Zodiac list of unsolved murdered victims,from the time of her death....Sept 26th,this is 5 days after the begining of the first day of the Autumnal Equinox. A murder in comparison to the 1969 dates of astrological patterns of the Zodiac Killer is similiar to the other homicides from 1969-1974 in Sonoma County and Northern California,performed by one killer operating in such a lunar cycle. The Santa Rosa series victims were all murdered in Sonoma County. There was suggestion there could be more than double digit number of bodies in rural Sonoma at various locations we just don't know how many is out there. There is probably unreported missing girls and women in or around Sonoma County in the late 1960's to early or mid 1970's who might be amoung the list of Zodiac victims or the Sonoma Killer. I did feel some family member hasn't filed a missing persons report about 30 years ago in the North Bay Area,because of a family argument that occured which the runaway was in trouble with the law in previous history or the guardian assumed the relative was better of on her own away from the house. Then when the murders began,nobody in the family gave a thought thier daughter was a possible victim. It would be helpful if anyone would suggest to the officers handling the Zodiac case to start investigating locations in San Francisco,Santa Rosa,Salinas,Monterey,and other geograhical locations which might be a clue from the undecoded Zodiac cryptogram. This might suggest there are graves out there to be sought after. ? I think Jeanette Kahamele was the skeletal remains found on July 6,1979,though police are keeping back information about the Santa Rosa murders. I read about the nylon rope involved,it was something that anyone could buy at the hardware store. It wasn't specially made for military such as tying the rope in a seamans knot.
