October 17 Halloween, the origin of. The validity pertaining to where the festival of Hallow's Eve or Halloween originates back to the ancient Celtics(pronounced Keltics, and has nothing to do with the NBA team Boston Celtics) who celebrate the 4 major holy days Samhain, Oimelc, Beltane & Lughnasadh referred to the "fire festivals" observed by the Paleopagan Druids because 'fire' was a physical divinity, holiness, truth, and beauty; fires played important roles in traditional customs in association with each festival. In fact the Catholic Church and Orthodox is the only christian faith that observes mass with a lighted candle because they have adapted pagan beliefs in rituals; a reason why fundamentalists damn the church as ungodly -"heathen." Ironic enough, the early Christian church was unable to stop the festivity of Samhain(prounced "sow"--as in female pig + "en": sowen--ending the "summers end" the begining of the Celtic New Year or birth of Halloween. The holy Roman Empire of the West moved its tradition of "All Saints Day" from May 13 to Samhain ,Nov 1 in order to stop the ancients from celebrating a day where celebration to honor the dead by making contact with spirits that may of spooked out the Judeo-Christians who were forbidden by the old testament in connecting with the dead for spiritual guidance in preperation to 'the other side.' The Catholics have since incorporated Oct 31 & Nov 1 in accordnance to a holy see calendar--popes Gregory III & Gregory IV-- by sprinkling holy water and declaring "All Souls Day" + "All Saints Day" a day of holy obligation that remains devisive amoungst catholics, who all don't agree the church's borrowed custom from the pagans is holy. In Dublin and parts of Ireland dating back to the Medieval Ages, customs of children dressed in macabre costumes knocking on house of doors and requesting, "Help the Hallow E'en party!" Any apples or nuts!" in expecting either presents, that to this day has survived in folk custom as saying "trick-o-treat" expecting candy. In the twentieth century, false accusations of so-called satanists have been reported to poison the "goodies" of children with laced drugs and or styrchnine which of course was a scare by Christian fundamentalist Jack Chick in attempts to rid Halloween by his tricky comic strips. Of course, before the Europeans invaded and settled in the Americas and adopted the Jack-O-Latern and pumpkins given to them by the native Indians, the celebration of the harvest was originated by a turnip, a small vegtable squash in ancient Celtic territories. That is until carved out pumpkins were used to decorate. Dating back to the arrival of the Spaniards in the 15th century, in Mexican tradition, Nov 1 and Nov 2 is El Día de Los Muerto--the day of the dead, where Indigenous people bring toys and presents to the dead so that the living can be reconnected with the dead literally hand-in-hand. Consumned food and beverage that was favored by once the departed is too brought to the grave sites as acting out to guide the home of spirits to the next of kin so to speak.
This is only a brief writing of Halloween originations and customs; it would take me several pages to rave and rant about this festival day. There are books, t.v. documentaries and recourseful websites of what is there to know about Hallow's Eve. Look it up. Death is frequently looked by many as morbid and gloomy, but its the final step of life so accept and embrace it when time comes. So why fear of spiritualism between the living and the dead.
Satanic you say? Halloween is not in the least bit Satanic!
Hallows Eve.
Enjoy the Halloween season and stay safe.

September 28 Can we expand our journey into the deepest space of the human mind?Mind XPansion. "Psychedelic"-Mind manifestion. All you had to do was turn on---open up to the idea of acid. With the enterance of tuning in, use it as a pardigm to zoom in that kaelidescope and open the vault to the hidden doors of consciousness. We use some 10% of our brain and 90% of it in deep sleep. We use a little portion of our brain daily, otherwise we all would get much tired being wired up with endless ideas. Sleeping is much a remedy. Like a genie in a bottle, profound mystical states of viewing the godhead buried within the deep regions of inner space is very possible. LSD or lysergic acid dyethelamide --lsd-25 has been "theorized" by one past scientific study to be very similiar to the flow of chemicals such as serotonin and dopamine found in the neurotransmitters secreted in the brain. Does acid affect your entire genetic system? No. Does it drive people into madness? Not completely-Yes and No. Does it expand your mind? Yes. Aldous Huxley explained that this potent as well as mescaline should only be used by the best and the brightest. Was he completely right about it? Timothy Leary somehow tried to convince U.S. Congress to pass a legislation for lsd which was that it should be reasoning for anyone who wanted to experiment with acid was compared to obtaining a drivers license to operate a combustible vehicle, except whereabouts this person would have to prove that he/she could drive a vehicle of consciousness if they could prove that they knew how to operate it with "responsibility" that is. Significant people still around from the baby boom generation who are also the childbarers and child producers of us "Generation Xers(30+ yr olds and afterwards)" have attributed the vehicle that drove them to those mental asylums was lsd because they weren't prepared or how to use it under proper guidance. There was nothing found in the newspapers about a pleasant lsd experiences; just the bad ones. The media circus had not want to cover the positive attributes. It was all negative media coverage especially when there was a story of somebody on lsd was killed on a railroad track by a oncoming train who appearently percieved himself as being invincible. To most of the public eye,it was considered unpatriotic to use lsd. It was thought as revolting against the establishment. In the governments involvement with lsd, CIA covert ops were surreptiously adminstered lsd in their drinks without any consent. PSY-OPS. President Lyndon B. Johnson banned all drug experimenations in the covert CIA MK-ULTRA in 1967. In spite that this powerful "weapon of war" at one time was manipulated by the secrecy cabal and that there is a passage of dark effects to it (walls buckling into three dimensions and terrifying hallucination experiences--St. Anthony's Fire. People in frenzy bummed out and diving out of their windows)..... "There is a inner reality to just more than meets the naked eye" - Timothy Leary. In a divisive scientific debate over of how much brain capacity does everybody use, we only use about 10% of our brain everyday and 90% for other areas, i.e.-deep sleep. Had we all use 100% of our brains capacity, we do all of use tend to forget about certain places, ideas, etc. The brain has unlimited capacity to learn about everything that there is to know. Poets and musicians attributed their enhancement of creativity thanks to lsd. Religious experiences were deeply opened. Drop out Do we have the right to alter our own consciousness? In a society where the manipulation of prozac, valium, ritalin, caffine, alcohol and chocalate as a drug itself is accepted...is there another space to fill with lsd? I believe so. Should LSD become legal..let it be. If it remains illegal ...you do the thinking why it should or should not be illegal. LSD is quite debatable. For those who are sane should be able to use this psychedelic remedy with responsibilities, preparing for the consequences. To learn about LSD, read literature and information from various sources before going on a trip. This is from my own political opinion regarding the usage of LSD. © 2009 sleepparalysis/obe -Daniel If the doors of perception were cleansed every thing would appear to man as it is, infinite. For man has closed himself up, till he sees all things through' narrow chinks of his cavern." - Aldous Huxley |
